ICI Pakistan Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager Microsoft Operations for our IT Department based in Karachi.
Key Job Accountabilities:
· Monitor and maintain Office 365, Windows Server operating system and additional server components including but not limited to Exchange, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SharePoint, File Server, SQL Server, & Teams, OneDrive TrendMicro Antivirus and Microsoft Radius servers.
· Apply patches to major subsystems and services, roles, and filesystem components within a Windows Systems environment and perform operating system and patch testing on all changes prior to installation.
· Execute basic PowerShell or Command Shell commands.
· Management of cloud computing products and services which include the public cloud environment’s servers, storage, networking, and data centre operations. Office365 Securities, ATP, Cloud App Security, Cloud File Server.
· Managing the public and private DNS of the ICI Pakistan website.
· Be able to introduce new technologies that significantly add business value across ICI Pakistan. This role requires constant research into optimising servers and system administration tools.
· Closely monitor any new challenges that are being faced by users for Non-ERP Applications, MS SharePoint, and MS Exchange Hybrid with Office365. Ensure that the initial response time for new issues is kept to a minimum and that the concerned users are kept in the loop as the team investigates the issues. Exercise independent judgment in committing personnel resources to projects and problem-solving. Maintaining end users’ updates via SCCM to ICI Pakistan Users
· The incumbent must work with the infrastructure team to ensure DRP for the Microsoft portfolio including Office 365, VMWARE, File Server and MS SharePoint SQL Clusters are always kept current and are tested on a regular basis to ensure audit compliance and any learnings are incorporated in the design.
· The incumbent is responsible for information security of the Non-ERP domain in compliance with governance and security-based policies security patches on users and server machines
· Detection and remediation of applications security vulnerability.
· Conduct Information Security Audits
· Compliance of Active Directory account as per agreed IS policy
