Greenstar Social Marketing (Guarantee) Limited is looking for candidates for the position of Deputy Manager IT – Infrastructure based at Karachi (Head Office).
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and installed systems and Network infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively implement and execute maintenance, monitoring, and support processes to provide a stable, highly available and reliable IT infrastructure platform to the business
- Create and maintain strategies and processes of security, data backups, and redundancy
- Participate in the planning and designing of IT Infrastructure and Computing System
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Maintain sufficient level of technical expertise of subordinates
- Policy and procedures modifications of Antivirus and other IT- Security applications/tools
- Ensure compliance with all forms of IT licensing agreements related to infrastructure
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
- Ensure the compliance of standard policies and procedures, as per advised by IT Steering committee
Knowledge and Experience required:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience of IT-Infrastructure and systems with degree of BS or BE in Computer Science
- Experience working with office 365 and Microsoft-Domain Environment
- Expertise on Virtualization environment (Hyper V, VMware 6.0 and above)
- Expertise on Computer Server management and datacenter environmental systems
- Experience with data backups tools like VERITAS, Acronis or Veeam
