Greenstar Social Marketing (Guarantee) Limited is looking for candidates for the position of “Deputy General Manager – Pharma” based at Head Office, Karachi.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure development and implementation of long and short-term business and marketing plans for major products to meet share, volume and donor deliverables.
- Prepare realistic budget and forecast for all existing and new products and services.
- Prepares the implementation program for comprehensive advertising and promotional program.
- Monitors performance of products against plan and carries out changes to the plan if necessary to ensure that targets are achieved.
- Ensure continuity of strong branding for the existing products and develop for new products to create brand loyalty on long term basis.
- Seeks to improve GS image among all stakeholders.
- Recruits, trains and motivates a team of sales and product managers to manage an effective marketing unit.
- Evaluates and recommends product pricing and advertising strategies.
- Study existing systems, procedures and staffing and make recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor and control implementation of sales and marketing plans.
- Ensure achievement of sales and CYP targets
- Promote leadership and support the team of sales and marketing.
Knowledge and Experience:
- MBA in Marketing & Sales
- 8 to 10 years Marketing and Sales experience with FMCG and Pharmaceutical companies. The ideal experience mix would be 3 – 5 years in Brand Management and 4 – 5 years experience of sales / distribution management
- Should have excellent Business communication, sales data analysis and presentation
