Job Role: Mechanical Technician
Location: Karachi
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling of pipe fabrication.
- Heavy equipment rigging, welding and site erection.
- Maintenance of valves & installation of box-ups.
- Boiler capacity enhancement.
- Rehabilitation of coal shed.
- Oversee maintenance of heat exchangers, vessels, and columns.
- Troubleshooting of maintenance issues.
- Supervision during Annual Turnarounds.
- SAP Power Users training & succession.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in pipe fabrication techniques and understanding of fabrication tolerances.
- Skilled in heavy equipment rigging procedures.
- Knowledge of welding processes and standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle jobs independently

Education: DAE or equivalent.

Job Description:
- Ensure continuous and smooth operations of the plant by controlling key process parameters such as Fuel Flow, Air Balance, and Draft.
- Monitor and adjust boiler operations to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee operations of cooling towers, power utilities, and air compressors to ensure proper functioning.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in controlling and adjusting key process parameters in power generation plants.
- Knowledge of cooling tower operations and maintenance practices.
- Competence in managing power utilities and systems.

Job Description:
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of cranes including Boom Truck, Cherry Picker, and overhead cranes.
- Manage crane operations to facilitate lifting and moving of heavy equipment and materials within the plant premises.
- Ensure adherence to safe rigging practices and protocols during lifting operations.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Operate cranes in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines.
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of safe rigging practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with crane maintenance and troubleshooting.
