We are looking to add a member to our Work in Process (WIP) team, who is an expert in efficient execution of WIP operations for After Wash. A good fit for this role would be ideally someone who has the ability to play a pivotal role in elevating the business to create a benchmark amongst best industry practices.
The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
- Support the WIP (Work in Process) Lead in efficient execution of WIP operations for the After Wash (Washing & Finishing) section
- Take charge of ensuring delivery of garments to the Washing section and subsequently completion of the Washing process as per the production plan
- Pass on the processed garments from Washing to Finishing, closely monitoring the quantities to ensure the plans are being followed
- Report the quantities received and delivered to every department beginning from Cutting up till Finishing and ensuring the agreed shipment timelines are being met
- Keep a record of B grade garments and report the total quantities along with tracing the root cause of production of B grade
- Report all WIP analytics for Washing & Finishing, with an ability to manage the data effectively in SAP
- Good multitasking, analytical, interpersonal and pressure handling skills and has an ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership
- Has at least 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience in the textile industry
Qualification Requirements: Masters/Bachelors of Engineering/Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
