Position: Incharge Design (Electrical)
Education: B.E Electrical
Location: Descon Headquarters (Lahore)
Required Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in Electrical Design engineering pertaining to Electrical Substations, Power Plants, Oil & gas plants, refineries, petrochemical plants and fertilizers industry in the following areas:
· Power System Studies
· HV Substations, LV/MV Systems
· Low Current Systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, PAGA, Telephone & LAN)
· Detail Engineering (Layouts, typical Installation details)
· Vendor reconciliations, technical proposal write-ups and bid evaluations
· Knowledge of international codes and standards, with particular references to onshore upstream oil & gas facilities
Job Description:
· To ensure quality of design documents, implementation of International Standards and Applicable Specification compliance.
· Preparation of Schedule and DCR of Electrical discipline’s activities, if required with the help of Project Control Engineer.
· Monitors and controls approved schedule for timely completion of defined scope.
· Responsible for man-hours / cost control.
· Responsible for inter-discipline coordination.
· Responsible for the QA / QC and ensures that the specified procedures are followed towards quality and performance of work.
· Preparation of Electrical Load List, Cable Schedules, Single Line Diagrams, Construction Layouts etc.
· Sizing and selection of LV/MV Switchgears, Cables, Panel boards, UPS, Transformer, Capacitors, CT & VTs, Telecom System (Fire Alarm, CCTV, PAGA, telephone etc.)
· Data sheets, Material Requisition & Technical Bid Evaluation of Electrical Equipment
· Development of specifications for Electrical Equipment
· Technical Review of Electrical Interconnection and Schematics Diagrams
· Development of Main cable, Cable tray Layouts
· Development of Typical Installation Drawings
· MTO / BOQ Estimation and proposal write-ups
· Capability to review 3D Model in Navisworks
· Capable of working on different modules of SPEL (Smart plant Electrical), ETAP, DIALUX)

Position: Lead Design- Static Equipment
Location: Descon HQ-Lahore
Education: B.E Mechanical
Experience: 8 plus Years of experience in static equipment design in a Design or EPC Company
Job Description:
Fully conversant with international design codes for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks
Fully conversant with mechanical engineering design software’s such as PVELITE, TANK, COMPRESS, etc
Fully conversant with materials used for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks
Work on static equipment design software for mechanical design.
Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables
Prepare and check equipment specifications and datasheets
Prepare and check procurement engineering documents, like tender documents/RFQs, technical bid analysis, purchase recommendations
Vendor follow-ups, check & approval of vendor drawings/documents and witnessing of factory acceptance tests (FAT)
Attend site visits, if required
Checking of Interdisciplinary documents during IDC review cycle
Coordination with other disciplines as required, ensuring success of multi-discipline project parallel working
Preparation and estimation of equipment loads and foundation load data
Preparation, estimation and approval of bid man hrs estimation
Management of delegated aspects of engineering team

Job Description:
Drafting of Plot Plan as per supervisor’s Instructions.
Drafting of Unit Plot Plans as per supervisor’s Instructions.
Drafting of Piping Layouts as per supervisor’s Instructions.
Preparation of Piping Isometrics Drawings as per Piping Layouts and as per supervisor’s Instructions.
Working of Desktop Study for ADNOC projects.
Preparation of Piping MTOs.
Preparation of Piping Information drawings to other Discipline as per supervisor’s Instructions.
Misc. drafting work for Standard drawings and Standard Pipe Supports.
3D Modelling of Piping (E3D, PDS, S3D etc.)
Drafting work for Pipeline Alignment sheets.
Field Engineering
As-built drafting work.
