ATCO is hiring Assistant / Associate Manager Utilities & Water System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee operation and maintenance of air compressors, water systems, boilers, effluent treatment plants (ETP), and HVAC systems (VRF and DX-based packaged AHUs).
- Develop, update, and implement SOPs for operation and maintenance in compliance with PIC/S, WHO, ISPE, and other international guidelines.
- Manage and maintain inventory of utilities and facility-related machinery and equipment.
- Lead and manage technical staff to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor and control operational standards and specifications for all utilities and equipment.
- Conduct energy audits, identify energy-saving initiatives, and implement projects to achieve targeted reductions and cost savings.
- Perform maintenance and engineering audits to ensure best practices with optimal cost and manpower utilization.
- Minimize equipment downtime to meet defined performance standards.
- Support plant initiatives for water conservation and EHS functions for safety compliance.
- Assist management in techno-commercial evaluation and review of utility/facility up-gradation projects, ensuring adoption of efficient and reliable technologies.
Education & Experience:
- Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronics
- Experience: 5 to 7 years in relevant field (utilities and water systems, preferably in pharmaceutical/GMP environment)
- Strong knowledge of pharma water systems, boilers, clean steam generators, VRF, and DX systems
- Expertise in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and reading P&IDs
- Solid understanding of plumbing and piping work
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and drive energy/water conservation initiatives
