We Are HIRING Assistant Manager Costing Karachi, Pakistan
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate recording of transactions, calculation of costs/inventories/variances, and timely monthly closing of production figures.
- Oversee reporting requirements, ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Follow up and monitor on capex projects and calculate manufacturing costs for new product ideas.
- Develop and check standard product costing and calculate the variances between actual and standard costs.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecast reports.
- Provide financial and analytical support to the Plant Manager, Manufacturing and Finance teams.
- Monitor plant internal controls in conjunction with company policies to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks.
- Support the supply chain teams and inventory management of obsoletes items.
- Assist in identifying areas for improvements and develop proposals for improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fully qualified ICMA / ACCA.
- 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4 HANA is preferable.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting techniques, financial statement analysis and projection.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/BI.
