FIELD STAFF REQUIRED: The Sindh Bureau of Statistics (SBoS), Planning & Development Department invites applications for Enumerators for the Sindh Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (SMICS) 2026–27. MICS is an internationally recognized UNICEF-supported household survey programme that generates evidence-based data to support policymaking and planning for children and women. Short-term positions are available across all 30 districts of Sindh.
Positions & Eligibility Criteria
1. Enumerator / Measurer (Female only)
- Age Limit: 21 – 40 Years (All Districts of Sindh)
- No. of Positions: 140
- Qualification: Intermediate from recognized Institution.
- Experience: At least one year of post-qualification experience of field survey related to mother and child health (e.g. Antenatal care of mother and child, Postnatal care of mother and child and Child immunization.
2. Enumerator (Male only)
- Age Limit: 21 – 40 Years (All Districts of Sindh)
- No. of Positions: 35
- Qualification: Intermediate from recognized Institution.
- Experience: At least one year of post-qualification experience of field survey related to mother and child health (e.g. Antenatal care of mother and child, Postnatal care of mother and child and Child immunization.
Application Submission Procedure
I. Interested Candidates are required to fill Online Job Application Form through STS (SIBA Testing Services) portal, https://apply.sts.net.pk against the advertised positions.
II. The Candidates must upload their CNIC (front and back), Domicile, PRC/Form-D, a recent photograph, all academic documents and experience certificate to be uploaded on portal when applying online.
III. After completing the online application, candidates can download a system-generated challan of Rs.1500/= (Rupees Fifteen Hundred Only). The challan can be paid by any Allied Bank Ltd. (ABL) Branch or via the My ABL app. Alternatively, candidates may use the 1Bill reference number to pay through the internet banking portal of any 1Bill-linked bank. (This fee is non-refundable)
IV. Candidates are advised to provide their active, non-ported mobile numbers in the online application form and avoid using numbers that have been ported to another network, as notifications will be communicated through SMS alerts.
V. General age relaxation will be observed as per Government policy and rules.
VI. STS shall not accept manual/hard copies of the application form, supporting documents, or fee challan. Any application received by post shall not be entertained.
VII. No queries shall be entertained after the issuance of admit slips for the MCQs-based written test.
VIII. Deadline for online submission of applications is 20 November, 2026.
Application Fees: Rs.1500/- (non-refundable)
Note:
- Incomplete applications and those candidates who do not possess the requisite qualification will not be entertained.
- Providing fictitious or misleading information shall result in rejection of the application and termination of employment at any stage.
- The date, time, and venue for the MCQs-based written test shall be intimated later through an SMS alert. Further, all updates and notification about the test dates, admit slips, result announcement or any other information shall be uploaded on the STS website/portal as well. In this regard, candidates must visit the portal/website from time to time.
- The position is purely short term/contingency basis and does not confer any right to regular or permanent employment with the Sindh Bureau of Statistics.
- Candidates who are already in Government service and Semi Government Organizations shall apply through proper channel.
- The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions, postpone, modify or cancel the recruitment process, as a whole or in part, in accordance with applicable rules/policy and without assigning any reason.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview/test.
