CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power (Pvt.) Ltd. is a public sector company owned by the Government of Punjab to construct and operate an RLNG based 1180MW Combined Cycle power plant at Bhikki, District Sheikhupura. The plant is producing cheap and reliable electricity and playing a pivotal role in eliminating the energy crisis in the country. We are seeking applications from highly qualified professionals for the following positions who are willing to work diligently for the achievement of challenging targets. This is also an opportunity to become part of a leading public sector initiative. The requisite qualification and experience for the positions are as follows:

1. Name of Post: General Manager Coordination (01 Position)

· Qualification: At least Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines of Business Education / Public Administration / Social Sciences / Arts / Physical Sciences / Sciences / Finance / Commerce / Economics or any other relevant field.

Experience: At least 15 years’ experience of working in the Public Sector, Government/Semi-Government Organizations including Armed Forces or in a senior management / administrative positions in private sector with international exposure. An ideal candidate must have experience in executing and coordinating along with effective liaison and coordination with Government entities, development partners, and other relevant stakeholders involved in social development initiatives including CSR.

2. Name of Post: Manager Mechanical (01 Position)

· Qualification: BS Engineering (Mechanical), MS Engineering (Mechanical) will be preferred.
Experience: Minimum five (05) years of relevant experience in the power sector is required. Candidates having practical experience in the operation of Gas turbine based Combined Cycle power plants in the relevant field will be given preference. Familiarity with public sector business processes, procedures, and working environments will be considered an added advantage.

3. Name of Post: Manager Health Safety Environment (HSE) (01 Position)

· Qualification: Bachelor/Master Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum three (03) years of relevant experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) is required. Experience in managing HSE functions in industrial establishment / projects/ Oil & Gas sector will be given preference. Overseas HSE experience will be considered an added advantage.

4. Name of Post: Assistant Manager Instrument & Controls (I&C) (01 Position)

· Qualification: BS Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or relevant field), MS Engineering in relevant field will be preferred.

Experience: Minimum two (02) years of relevant experience in the power sector is required. Experience in power plant operations will be preferred. Familiarity with government/public sector procedures, business processes, and working environments will be considered an added advantage.
