ROTARY SUPERVISOR
ROLE OVERVIEW
To supervise and coordinate maintenance activities related to rotating equipment, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, safety, and timely completion of maintenance activities in accordance with established standards and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 10+ years experience in rotating equipment maintenance, preferably in an oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, power, or process industry.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, mechanical seals, bearings, alignment, and vibration-related issues
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on daily basis of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and associated machinery.
- Lead maintenance activities, troubleshooting, inspection, alignment, overhauling, and installation of rotating equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition and identify potential failures to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, Instrumentation, Inspection, and other departments for effective maintenance execution.
- Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in compliance with HSE procedures, work permits, and company standards.
- Supervise contractors and ensure quality, productivity, and adherence to approved work schedules.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and job completion reports.
- Support turnaround, shutdown, and emergency maintenance activities as required.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability, maintenance practices, and overall plant performance.
