Job Opportunity: Assistant Manager (Internal Audit)

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preference: ACCA / CA part-qualified preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in the manufacturing or textile industry.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing internal audits across various departments.
  • Evaluate internal controls, risk management processes, and operational efficiencies.
  • Conduct audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
  • Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Follow up on audit observations to ensure timely implementation of actions.
  • Review financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with department heads to clarify audit observations.
  • Assist in special investigations and internal control improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
