DFL is seeking a seasoned electrical and automation leader to drive operational excellence across our vertically integrated textile operations. This role demands strategic vision, technical authority, and strong governance to ensure safe, reliable, and energy-efficient performance across spinning, weaving, dyeing, apparel, utilities, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and technical authority for all Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation systems across mills, utilities, infrastructure, and colonies
- Ensure 24/7 reliability, safety, compliance, and energy-efficient operations across spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing, apparel, and wastewater facilities
- Standardize PLC, DCS, SCADA, and instrumentation frameworks across all sites
- Lead automation strategy and execute a group-wide digitalization roadmap
- Drive electrical governance, audits, and statutory compliance across HT/LT networks, transformers, switchgear & MCC systems
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) of electrical failures and automation trips to eliminate recurring downtime
- Oversee CAPEX planning and execution for electrical & automation projects
- Implement energy optimization initiatives including VFD optimization and power factor correction
- Build and mentor multi-site electrical & automation teams while managing OEMs, vendors, and contractors
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Utilities, EHS & Finance for operational excellence
Qualification & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 15–20 years of progressive experience in textile or process industries
- Proven career progression from hands-on engineering roles to senior leadership positions
- Mandatory exposure to dyeing, weaving, spinning, apparel manufacturing, utilities, and WWTP/ETP operations
- Strong expertise in industrial electrical infrastructure and large-scale automation systems
