Position: HOUSE KEEPING SUPERVISOR
LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, CLIFTON CAMPUS
JOB SUMMARY:
House Keeping Supervisor is responsible for assignment of duties, inspection of work, and investigation of complaints regarding housekeeping service. He/she oversees the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensures that equipment is clean, orderly, and all areas of the hospital are neat, tidy and hygienic for patients, employees and visitors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assigns workers their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
- Coordinates work activities among different shifts to ensure appropriate workload distribution.
- Makes recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operations.
- Examines building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations.
- Train new housekeeping employees and provide ongoing guidance and performance feedback.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Understands all health and safety issues with regard to staff and self.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning and disinfection protocols.
- Time Management and organization to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s + House Keeping Course / Certification.
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Shift: Rotational
