Job Description:
Oversee and manage all pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications.
Develop and implement pharmacy policies, SOPs, and procedures in accordance with DRAP and hospital regulations.
Ensure strict compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Lead inventory management, forecasting, budgeting, and procurement planning to maintain optimal stock levels and cost control.
Conduct periodic audits, manage expiry control systems, and minimize wastage and losses.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff; ensure continuous professional development and performance management.
Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure effective medication management and patient care.
Monitor quality assurance indicators and implement improvements to enhance patient safety and service excellence.
Prepare reports related to pharmacy performance, stock analysis, compliance, and financial metrics for management review.
Handle escalations, medication error reporting, and risk management processes.
Ensure proper implementation and utilization of HIS and pharmacy management systems.
Requirements:
Education: Pharm-D from an HEC-recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a hospital, including at least 3–4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
License: Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
