Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Executive – Packaging Procurement to support packaging development, sourcing, and procurement through strong supplier coordination, cost analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development, sourcing, and procurement of primary and secondary packaging materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers on material development, colour matching, sampling, and quality validation.
- Assist new and existing product development (NPD/EPD) and packaging innovation initiatives in line with marketing and production requirements.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and sustainability requirements.
- Manage packaging specifications, artworks, and approvals in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Support cost analysis, negotiations, and procurement planning to drive value and cost efficiency.
- Maintain supplier records, contracts, and documentation in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Monitor packaging performance, address supply issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in packaging development or procurement within FMCG, food, or manufacturing sectors
- Good understanding of packaging materials, converting processes, and quality standards
- Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office with exposure to SAP systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and tight timelines
