Position: Billing Officer Location: Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Sukkur Campus
JOB SUMMARY:
To receive the discharge patient files from relevant wards, resolve queries if any from concerned department and prepare final bill with all details.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have specific operational knowledge of assigned billing responsibilities.
- Follow key processes and procedure in completing billing tasks to quality standards.
- Be competent in the use of the IT structure and processes that support billing.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate the delivery of efficient and effective billing services to all customers.
- Be aware of responsibility of billing role in effecting hospital cash-flow.
- Hand over the complete charge of pending / current billing files to next shift.
- Trained junior staff on organizational policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Graduate / Intermediate with 4 years’ experience in relevant field.
- Professional Qualification: 1-year diploma in computer science.
- Work Experience: Minimum 1-2 Years’ experience in a reputable hospital or hotel.
