Position: Category Specialist – MRO
Reporting to: Category Manager – MRO
Location: Lahore
Contract Type: Permanent
Key Accountabilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of the MRO category.
- Ensure purchase requirements align with approved specifications and standards.
- Process purchase requisitions, obtain quotations, and conduct bid evaluations via SAP/Ariba.
- Identify, audit, and onboard technically capable suppliers; track vendor performance for quality and delivery compliance.
- Support price, payment, and long-term contract negotiations to achieve cost efficiency and SOP compliance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure correct specifications, quality assurance, and resolution of supplier quality issues.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors
- Bachelors/Masters in Supply Chain or equivalent
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP/Oracle), MS Excel, Supply Chain Analytics
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
