Position: Sr. Draftsman – Civil & Architecture
LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing, developing, and coordinating detailed architectural and construction drawings for healthcare and educational facilities. Ensures accuracy, compliance with building codes and healthcare standards, and effective coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants for smooth project execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare accurate architectural working drawings, detailed sections, and shop drawings.
- Draft layouts for OTs, ICUs, OPDs, laboratories, diagnostic areas, classrooms, and other specialized spaces.
- Incorporate redline markups and revisions from architects and consultants.
- Conduct site measurements and update as-built drawings accordingly.
- Assist project teams in preparing BOQs, schedules, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to improving CAD/Revit standards and healthcare-specific drafting templates.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES:
- Strong understanding of healthcare facility design (zoning, circulation, accessibility, clean/dirty flows).
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, site conditions, and technical details.
- Basic knowledge of building codes and healthcare drafting standards.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE – Architecture / Civil) or equivalent.
- Professional Qualification: Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM (preferred).
- Work Experience: 8-10 years of professional experience in architectural drafting preferably in healthcare projects (hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, laboratories).
