Job Responsibility:

Take stock at regular intervals (as per The City School policy) and maintain a fully stocked library to suit the readers who use the library.
Implement the proper categorisation system and label the categorised stock on racks.
Maintain a good borrow/return/reference procedure properly recorded.
Display a list of rules for the readers to follow and ensure that the rules are followed.
Create programmes to enhance reading habits; for example, the bookworm programme, caterpillar programme, selection of the best reader of the month/week, etc.
Assist teachers in conducting academic activities such as quiz competitions, language development programmes, etc.
