Position : Web Administrator

Location: Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Head Office, North Nazimabad Campus.

Job Summary:

Update, maintain and secure WordPress sites as well as other CMS like Laravel or core PHP. Must have hands-on experience in managing LAMP stack servers and cloud instances for troubleshooting, backup, restoring and optimizing overall site performance.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operation, updates, and maintenance of websites to ensure stability and security.
Track server health, optimize database, and fine-tune LAMP stack to maximize site and reliability.
Implement and manage Cloudflare WAF, malware scanning, backup, and patching to safeguard instances.
Troubleshoot errors, restore compromised sites, and perform disaster recovery to minimize operational risk.
Security management, patch management for all sites, analytics & reporting, server hosting and management.
Regularly track and report on website and server expenses, identifying areas where cost reductions are possible.
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of configuration, instances, website, and security protocols.
Conduct VAPT for entire Ziauddin Group sites and ensure maximum security.

Knowledge & Competences:

Skills in updating, maintaining, and securing WordPress, Laravel, and Core PHP applications.
Strong hands-on experience in managing Linux, Apache, MySQL/ MariaDB, and PHP applications.
Proficient in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud instances (GCP, Digital Ocean or self-hosted).
Competent in implementing firewalls, malware scanning, backups, and site performance optimization.
Experienced in backup and restoring sites, debugging errors, and ensuring uptime continuity.

Requirements:

Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant IT field.
Professional Qualification: Certification for cloud administrator is a plus.
Work Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in Web Administration with expertise in handling WordPress, Laravel & Core PHP sites.
