Ghulam Faruque Group (GFG) is a progressive industrial group and has interest in Sugar, Paper & Board, Distillery, Cement, Packaging, Power, Engineering and Trading Sectors. We are looking for qualified and talented individual for the following position for our Paper & Board Division, based in Mirpurkhas, Sindh.
HSE Officer
The candidate will be responsible to:
- Implement and enforce HSE management system requirements as per company policies and applicable regulations.
- Conduct routine HSE inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments across paper plant operations.
- Monitor high-risk activities including hot work, confined space entry, work at height, electrical isolation, and lifting operations.
- Lead incident, near miss, and unsafe condition investigations using root cause analysis techniques.
- Deliver technical HSE trainings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for employees and contractors.
- Oversee fire prevention and protection systems, including inspections and emergency drills.
- Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, registers, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to close safety observations and implement corrective actions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or Equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Local candidates will be preferred.

The candidate will be responsible to:
- Network Administration: Basic knowledge of networks, including setup configuration and troubleshooting.
- Computer System Infrastructure: Manage computer systems, hardware and software infrastructure.
- Data Base Management: Provide support to implement and maintain database to store and manage organizational data.
- PC Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for PC related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a Graduate in Information Technology/ Computer Science with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Local Candidates will be preferred.
