We are looking for Food Technologist Location: Karachi
Qualifications
- 2 plus years of experience in food product development or R&D
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology, or a related field
Knowledge and skills
- Curious, innovative, and self-motivated
- Strong knowledge of organic foods, superfoods, and functional ingredients
- Familiarity with food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.)
- Ability to analyze data, and document results
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities and Duties
To assist in achieving business objectives through;
- Conduct research and development of organic and superfood-based products
- Develop, test, and optimize formulations, recipes, and processes
- Source and evaluate organic raw materials and ingredients
- Ensure products meet nutritional, sensory, and shelf-life standards
- Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with production teams to scale up formulations from lab to manufacturing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, organic certification standards, and quality systems
- Conduct trials, sensory evaluations, and product improvements based on feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and food technologies
