Position: HSE Sr. Officer / HSE Executive Location: Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with legal and organizational requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE laws, regulations, and buyer safety requirements.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
- Organize and conduct HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and safety awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices across all departments.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, permits, and documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response activities.
- Coordinate with management, compliance, and production teams to improve workplace safety culture and environmental performance.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science.
- Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in an HSE role (textile/manufacturing industry preferred).
- Certifications: HSE certifications and NEBOSH certification.
