𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 is looking to hire a skilled and experienced candidate for the position of 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 – 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
o Ensure accuracy and timeliness of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
o Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts.
o Present financial performance dashboards and management reports for leadership.
o Lead the annual budgeting process across departments and retail outlets.
o Develop rolling forecasts considering sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and market conditions.
o Partner with commercial, supply chain, and retail operations teams to align budgets with sales and operational goals.
o Identify risks and opportunities in the budget and suggest corrective actions.
o Analyze sales performance by category, store, and region to track profitability.
o Evaluate gross margins, promotional impacts, and discount strategies.
o Monitor operating expenses (OPEX) and recommend efficiency improvements.
o Support inventory management through analysis of stock turnover, aging, and markdowns.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
o Professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CA, CPA, CIMA).
o 8-10 years’ relevant experience in financial reporting and budgeting (retail/FMCG experience preferred).
o Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
o Advanced Excel, ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and BI tools (Power BI) expertise.
o Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
o Strong communication and presentation skills for management reporting.
o Commercial acumen with an understanding of retail KPIs.
o Leadership and stakeholder management skills to work with cross-functional teams.
