Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for cost and efficiency.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and transport companies.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining product integrity.
- Monitor vehicle temperature compliance for chilled products.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Comply with regulatory and legal requirements for ambient and chilled logistics.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Identify opportunities for reducing logistics costs while improving service levels.
- Implement process improvements using lean logistics principles.
- Track and analyze key logistics metrics to drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as procurement, sales, and customer service.
- Train employees on best practices for handling ambient and chilled goods.
- Prepare and present logistics performance reports.
- Use data analytics to track delivery efficiency, cost savings, and stock accuracy.
- Monitor supplier and carrier performance to ensure SLAs are met.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices of all transporters through timely raising the PRs.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems like SAP, hands on experience of Power BI
