Urgently required “IP-Core Network Engineer”

Location: Islamabad
Experience: At least 5 years related experience
Responsible for:
- Provide technical support, fault analysis, and resolution for IP/MPLS core.
• Ensure 24/7 network stability, performance, and availability through monitoring.
• Lead delivery of IP core projects, upgrades, and integrations.
• Design and maintain IP/MPLS backbone and edge routers.
• Support high-capacity data and voice network services.
• Collaborate with teams to assess needs and resolve issues.
• Plan network improvements with internal teams and customers.
• Update technical documents, LLDs, PATs, and network diagrams.
• Maintain accurate change records and configuration details.
• Perform RCA and prepare reports for major incidents or outages..
Candidates must have hands-on experience with the following technologies
- IP/MPLS LSPs, TE tunnels and LDP/RSVP-TE in large-scale core networks.
- Routing Protocols, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP and their integration.
- L3VPN / L2VPN Services
- Multicast Protocols (e.g., PIM-SM, IGMP)
- IPv4 / IPv6 Dual Stack Networks and uderstanding of IPv6 transition mechanisms
- NMS and Monitoring Tools:
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE ( highly preferred)
