CAREER OPPORTUNITY
To ensure the successful operation of the Research Office, Ziauddin University is seeking a suitable candidate for the post of BIOSTATISTICIAN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Biostatistician will provide statistical analysis support for MD/MS postgraduate trainees, ensuring the robustness and reliability of their research findings.
- Assist trainees with study design, sample size determination, and data collection methods.
- Conduct statistical analysis using software tools (e.g., SPSS).
- Provide training and workshops on biostatistics for postgraduate trainees.
- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure research methods are statistically sound.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines for data collection and analysis.
- Publish statistical findings in collaboration with researchers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in biostatistics, particularly in healthcare and medical research.
- Strong proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex statistical concepts to non-statisticians.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
Market Competitive Salary + Comprehensive Medical Coverage + Provident Fund + 40 Annual Leave Days + Subsidised Meals + Annual Increment Salary Range: Rs 60,000 – 100,000 per month (depending on experience)
