DOMICILIARY MANAGER
LOCATION: DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS.
JOB SUMMARY: The Domiciliary Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the hospital’s home healthcare (domiciliary) services. The role ensures safe, effective, and compassionate care is delivered to patients at home while maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day domiciliary care operations.
- Ensure effective care planning, risk assessments, and documentation.
- Supervise multidisciplinary nursing staff, caregivers, and administrative teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.
- Manage service budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
- Conduct staff training and performance appraisals.
- Handle patient/family concerns and resolve service issues promptly.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Generate reports and present service performance metrics to senior management.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES:
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of patient care protocols, medication management, and nursing practices in a home care setting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with healthcare laws, infection control standards, and home care licensing requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire, lead, and motivate diverse teams.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Empathy & Patience: A caring attitude toward patients and a sensitive approach to handling their needs.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and adjust plans as patient needs evolve.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities in dynamic situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Registered with a recognized healthcare regulatory authority (if applicable).
- Work Experience: 8 years of experience in healthcare, with 3 years in home care or domiciliary services department.
