Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance
· Implement, maintain, and control quality processes and procedures, Integration and effectiveness of processes across functions.
· Material and equipment acceptance:
· Conduct regular audits and inspections of construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing),
· Equipment installations, structure, BMS, Firefighting, etc.
· Regularly quality inspect the construction site and promptly rectify. Evaluate subcontractors and suppliers for quality compliance.
· Organize quality records and supervisor in completing the completion acceptance
· Quality problem handling Defect rectification:
· Train project teams and subcon teams on quality standards - Health & Safety
· Develop and implement health and safety plans and procedures
· Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards
· Ensure adherence to H &S regulations, standards, and codes throughout all stages of the project life-cycle.
· Develop and manage Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Emergency Response Plan and Permit-to-Work (PTW) system.
· Organize and lead Toolbox Talks, daily briefings, and safety drills,
· Ensure proper use of PPE, safety signage, and that all work at height, confined space,
· Monitor incidents and near-misses, conducting investigations where necessary
· Oversee on-site safety inspections and audits, document findings and reporting regularly
· Report incidents, near misses, and investigate root causes with follow-up actions.
· Provide training and awareness programs to workers, contractors, and stakeholders. - Environmental Management
· Implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), including noise, dust, hazardous waste control, and spill response.
· Ensure waste disposal, chemical handling, and material storage are in line with local regulations and ISO 14001. Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
· Certification in NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is preferred.
· 8+ years in Quality Management, with 3+ years in data center projects.
· Knowledge of international codes and standards related to QHSE and data center infrastructure.
· Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (cooling, power, redundancy, security)..
· Proficient in auditing, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
