At NayaPay, we are seeking a Security Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain security automation solutions that enable faster detection, response, and mitigation of security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and develop security automation tooling for threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and access control.
● Automate manual processes in security operations (e.g., alert triage, remediation, metrics calculations, compliance & leadership reporting).
● Build and maintain integrations between SIEM, SOAR and different platforms (e.g., AWS/GCP), identity providers, and internal systems.
● Collaborate with detection engineers and analysts to codify detection and response workflows.
● Maintain and evolve infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and security-as-code practices.
● Develop security-focused CI/CD pipelines, policies, and GitOps workflows.
● Monitor and ensure health, scalability, and effectiveness of SOC stack & security automations.
● Document processes, tools, and runbooks for internal use and audits.

Qualifications Required:

● Demonstrated hands-on experience in security engineering, and automation-focused roles.
● Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language.
● Experience with scripting and API integrations along with its security testing (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
● Familiarity with open-source platforms like Grafana, Wazuh, Elastic, Graylog, or SIEM/SOAR platforms.
● Diverse experience related to the security best practices followed in the financial sector.
● Good understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
● Managing Infrastructure-as-code alongside the security stack.
