ZIL Limited is looking for Assistant Manager Purchase.
Prerequisites: Graduate/MBA with 4 to 5 years of experience in FMCG sector with hand on experience in Packaging Material Developments and chemical purchasing. Position scale is permanent and market competitive salary along with essential benefits will be offered. Location is Karachi Headoffice.
Essential duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Coordinates with departments and arrange processing of Demands
- Coordinates with suppliers, transporters and service providers
- Arrange quotations from suppliers and prepare quotations comparison
- Supplier selection and recommendation for PO issuance
- Supplier sourcing from market
- Purchasing as per allocated Budgets
- Preparation of ERP documents & record management
- Manage Packaging Material Developments in coordination with marketing & Factory
- Monitor monthly demand as per identified MSL for materials.
- Develops alternate sources/options for cost savings
- Ensures all documentation as Quality Management System
- Ensure quality and safe supplies of all materials to different locations
- Ensures proper documentation as required by ZMS
- Bill submissions and payment follow up with Finance Dept.
