Zameen is urgently looking to recruit a skilled professional for its ‘Manager Content/Editor‘ post.

Job Brief:

The Content Manager/Editor will be responsible for going over the content team’s writing material for the Blog and News pages, and for ensuring all articles maintain editorial quality and are ready to be published according to plan. The job holder will also be responsible for writing articles for the blog and news pages, as well as PR reports and project pages as and when required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Writing blogs and news stories while following content requirements and meeting deadlines
• Conducting research on any given topic
• Revising and updating blogs and news stories according to the project’s requirements
• Optimizing all the content for SEO
• Helping create and managing an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery
• Communicating and cooperating with other team members as well as sources to extract and corroborate information for blogs and news posts
• Ensuring each article is entertaining for the readers and effectively captures Zameen’s voice
• Reviewing, editing, verifying and fact checking editorials prepared by the team
• Being able to field last minute edits and revisions, and addressing any editorial mistakes like typos, faulty grammar, and inaccurate information
• Developing content ideas by keeping in mind the target audience

Requirements:

Experience: At least 5-6 years of writing and/or editing experience
Location: Lahore
Education: Graduation from a well reputed institute

• Strong collaborative skills
