Position: DEPUTY MANAGER COMPLIANCE
Qualification:
- BS/MS in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH and EHS certifications will be considered advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in compliance roles in a manufacturing environment, focusing on Environmental Health & Safety and Brands’ Code of Conduct and certifications of Wrap, Inditex, BSCI, ISO 900:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO 24001:2015
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of relevant local and international regulations and Code of Conduct standards.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety regulations, legal requirements, and the company’s code of conduct.
- Provide comprehensive training to workers and staff on social compliance requirements, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Emergency Response Plan.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident investigations.
- Conduct Environmental Health & Safety Risk Assessments, identify compliance gaps, and coordinate with technical teams to develop corrective action plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the management team to align policies with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
