VISITING FACULTY REQUIRED: Applications are invited from Pakistan Nationals (Nationwide) against the visiting teaching positions in the subject of “Physics” for semesters Fall-2026 and Spring-2027 to maintain a pool of faculty in the relevant subject for future employment as “Visiting Faculty” on prescribed proforma available at the University Official Website (at URL: https://web.uettaxila.edu.pk/OR/postsVacant.asp), the details for said position (s) are produced as below:

FACULTY POSITIONS ON VISITING BASIS

Position (s): Lecturers
Subject: Physics
Qualification & Experience: In pursuance of “clause 4” of SOPs approved by the Syndicate in its 51/2019 meeting for hiring of visiting faculty at UET Taxila, the appointments against visiting faculty positions will be made in accordance with latest eligibility criteria on the analogy of regular faculty, available at official website of “Higher Education Commission, Islamabad” as per following link: “https://hec.gov.pk/english/services/universities/QA/Pages/faculty-appointment-criteria.aspx“
Age Limit: No Age Limit

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Applications (in hard form) on prescribe proforma (available at UET, Taxila official website bearing URL: https://web.uettaxila.edu.pk/OR/postsVacant.asp) must be completed in all aspects should be reached in the R&I Cell, UET, Taxila up-to September 12th 2026 (Wednesday) till 3:30 PM.

Eligible candidates should submit their application forms along with attested copies of educational testimonials (i.e. Degrees/Certificates, Transcript/DMC) & experience certificates (from Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies), copy of CNIC, one recent photograph, valid registration card of PEC (only applicable for degrees in engineering disciplines).
No fee for applying against visiting faculty positions.
Only those qualifications & experiences etc. will be considered, if valid documentary proof is attached up-to the last date of advertisement.
In-service candidates must apply through proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate from their concerned departments with applications.
In case of any educational document or any other document provided by the applicants is found incorrect / fake at any stage, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.
Incomplete applications received after the due date shall be rejected without information to the applicant.
The University reserves the right to withdraw advertisement, without assigning any reason, which will not be challengeable in any court of law.
Only shortlisted candidates, who meet the criteria, will be called for tests / interviews.
In case of engagement as Visiting Faculty, remuneration will be paid as per the approved rules.
No TA/DA will be admissible at any stage.
