Universal Packaging Pvt Ltd Jobs Assistant Manager Mechanical:
UPCO are looking for “Assistant Manager Mechanical”.
Requirement & Skills:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the Packaging industry (Boilers & Chillers).
- The incumbent should be BE/BS (Mechanical).
- Good written & oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to work as a team player.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
- To ensure the implementation of all types of mechanical preventive, corrective and condition-based maintenance as per guideline of OEM.
- Reponsible for overseeing preventive maintenance of Boilers, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Compressor & Pumps.
- Operation and maintenance of utility equipment that includes the HVAC system, Air Compressors and thermal system.
- Timely inventory management and ordering of plant critical spares.
- Engage with management for approval of Purchase Requisition and manage the approval process to minimize delay.
- To ensure effective utilization of resources in shifts and to manage shift matters.
- Develop SOP’s and system for smooth operation of the maintenance department.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plan for machines to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Liaison with vendors for outsourced maintenance to ensure availability of machines.
- To record data including job order record, repairing requisition, purchase requisition & job completion record.
- To prepare checklists (Daily & Monthly) and insure its implementation and its adherence to minimize the chances of mistake from mechanical point of view.
