CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: TransPeshawar (The Urban Mobility Company), is a Company set up under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017, and is responsible for Project Implementation, Management and Maintenance of Urban Rapid Transit Projects assigned by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Mobility Authority. The company is seeking for dynamic, experienced and self-driven professionals for the following positions:

Position Details

1. Assistant Manager Bus Compliance

Position: 01
Job Profile: Reporting to the Manager Operation & Control Centre; Assistant Manager Bus Compliance will ensure that all bus operations within the BRT system comply with regulatory standards, contractual obligations, safety protocols, and service performance benchmarks. This role involves close coordination with bus operators, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to enforce compliance and support efficient transit operations. This position requires working late hours and on weekends. Candidate shall be willing to work late hours and on holidays and weekends.
Qualification: At least 16 years degree in Civil/Transport/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related fields from HEC recognized university. Foreign qualification and/or Master’s Degree in above fields from HEC recognized university will be considered an added advantage.
Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification relevant experience. 03 years of public transport, fleet management, and repair & maintenance experience in a similar role will be preferred. Relevant international work experience will be considered an added advantage.

2. Assistant Manager Bus Operations

Position: 01
Job Profile: The Assistant Manager Bus Operations shall be responsible for contract management, operations and invoice processing of Chamkani and Malikabad (Feeder) contracts. The role is expected to have 10% field visits and 90% work in office. Assistant Manager Bus Operations will be responsible for smooth execution of the contracts. The major responsibilities include rate adjustment, kilometres verification, kilometres lengths verification, KPI compliance of the contract, impose LDs due to noncompliance and recommend / implement improvement in the system.
Qualification: At least 16 years degree in Civil/Transport/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related fields from HEC recognized university. Foreign qualification and/or Master’s Degree in above fields from HEC recognized university will be considered an added advantage.
Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification relevant experience. 03 years of public transport operations and management experience in a similar role will be preferred. Relevant international work experience will be considered an added advantage.

3. Assistant Manager Corporate Taxation

Position: 01
Job Profile: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Assistant Manager Corporate Taxation shall be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and provincial tax laws and regulations applicable to TransPeshawar. The incumbent shall assist in tax planning, preparation and filing of tax returns/statements, coordination with tax authorities, tax audits, reconciliation of tax records, and provision of taxation-related advisory support to management while ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Qualification: At least graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (Finance), or other related disciplines from a recognized university. Membership of a recognized Professional Accounting Body or higher academic qualifications shall be considered an added advantage. Foreign qualifications will also be considered an added advantage.
Experience: At least 05 years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in taxation, budget, finance, accounts, audit, or related fields. Preference shall be given to candidates having relevant experience in public sector financial management and corporate taxation, including dealing with Federal and Provincial tax authorities.

4. Budget & Accounts Officer

Position: 01
Job Profile: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Budget and Accounts Officer has the responsibility to manage the budgeting and accounting functions of TransPeshawar. The Budget and Accounts Officer must also provide the necessary support to the CFO to ensure that the financial affairs are conducted in a transparent and professional manner and financial records are maintained in accordance with the financial rules and regulations.
Qualification: At least graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (Finance), or other related disciplines from HEC recognized university. Higher academic qualifications shall be considered an added advantage.
Experience: At least 03 years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in budgeting, finance, accounts, financial reporting, audit, or related fields. Preference shall be given to candidates having experience in public sector financial management and budgeting.

5. Audit Officer

Position: 01
Job Profile: Reporting to the Chief Internal Auditor; Audit Officer shall oversee and conduct financial, operations, and compliance audits to ensure transparency, accountability, and efficient use of public funds in the BRT system. He has to plan, supervise, and execute internal audit activities for the BRT project to ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, procurement policies, and operational procedures. The Audit Officer helps protect assets, improve risk management, and enhance the integrity of the BRT’s financial and operational systems.
Qualification: At least 16 years of education in Commerce, Business Administration (Finance), ACCA, CA Finalist or related fields from HEC recognized university.
Experience: At least 03 years of post-qualification relevant experience. 01 years of experience in auditing public sector projects, transport authorities, donor-funded programs, or infrastructure projects will be considered an advantage.

6. Finance Executive

Position: 01
Job Profile: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer; the Finance Executive will be responsible for the management of routine affairs of the Finance Department in the form of financial instruction, taxation, reconciliations, and maintaining the overall record of the section. The job of Finance Executive is to ensure that the financial affairs are conducted in a transparent and professional manner and all the applicable regulations and laws are being followed.
Qualification: At least graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (Finance), or Member of Professional Accounting Bodies, or other related disciplines from HEC recognized university. Higher academic qualifications shall be considered an added advantage.
Experience: At least 02 years of professional experience in finance, accounts, taxation, budgeting, audit, or related fields. Preference shall be given to candidates having experience in government, public sector organizations, or other reputed entities. Higher qualifications and relevant international work experience will be considered an added advantage.

7. Security & Safety Executive

Position: 01
Job Profile: Reporting to the Manager Security & Safety; Executive Security & Safety has to ensure the safety and security of BRT passengers, staff, assets, and infrastructure by implementing safety protocols, monitoring operations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services, and managing incidents effectively.
Qualification: At least 16 years of education in any discipline from HEC recognized university along with NEBOSH Certification being mandatory. Master’s Degree in Health & Safety shall be considered an added advantage, for which NEBOSH Certification shall not be required.
Experience: At least 02 years of post-qualification experience in Health and Fire Safety is required. 01-year experience in security shall be considered as an added advantage.

8. Procurement Executive

Position: 01
Job Profile: The Procurement Executive will assist Manager Procurement in all procurements and tendering to be conducted in TransPeshawar. He/she will be responsible for the proper up keeping of all procurement records as per standards.
Qualification: At least 16 years of education in Business Administration, Economics or relevant field from HEC recognized university.
Experience: At least 02 years of post-qualification relevant experience. Experience in procurement/project administration/supply chain management will be given preference.

9. Executive Assistant to CEO (Female)

Position: 01
Job Profile: Reporting directly to CEO, Executive Assistant to CEO provides help through a wide range of duties, including clerical tasks, research and management roles. The position requires a high level of integrity, as you’ll likely be exposed to confidential and sensitive information.
Qualification: At least 16 years of education in any discipline from HEC recognized university.
Experience: At least 02 years of post-qualification relevant experience. Experience in the similar role will be preferred.
