Job Title: Assistant Manager – Commercial Finance
Location: Lahore
Job Overview: We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Commercial Finance team. The role requires expertise in IFRS standards especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 9, alongside stakeholder management and the ability to manage finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain revenue recognition policies in compliance with IFRS 15 and financial instrument accounting under IFRS 9.
• Close coordination with project managers and sales team to monitor project financials and manage debtor aging reports.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze contracts and address revenue recognition issues.
• Support financial reporting enhancements and system improvements.
• Record invoices, receipts, and financial transactions accurately.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards related to revenue and financial instruments.
- Liaison with internal and external auditors
- Other ad-hoc reporting and tasks as and when required by management
Qualifications:
• CA finalist / ACCA with completion of articles from PwC/ EY/ KPMG
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
