Simpaisa is looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, validating system functionality, and collaborating closely with development teams to maintain high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities
-Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for backend systems and APIs.
-Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for RESTful APIs and microservices.
-Validate API requests and responses, business logic, data integrity, and error handling.
-Conduct database testing, including SQL queries, data validation, and stored procedures verification.
-Perform API automation testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
-Integrate and manage automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
-Analyze system logs and troubleshoot backend issues in collaboration with development teams.
-Participate in requirement reviews and provide early feedback regarding testability and potential risks.
-Maintain proper test documentation, test reports, and defect tracking in project management tools.
-Perform performance and load testing when required.
-Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist during production deployments.
Requirement:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
