Job Title: Manager / Asst. Manager Accounts – Coal Mining Industry
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager or Assistant Manager in Accounts to join our Finance Team at our Karachi office within the coal mining industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- General accounting processing. Based on the domestic accounting system, cooperate with the Chinese finance staff to perform accounting processing. During the accounting processing process, the accounting principles of Pakistan must be followed. If there are differences in the accounting processing with the Chinese financial personnel, suggestions for modifications shall be made.
- Tax business accounting processing. Work well with the tax manager to do business docking, and cooperate with Chinese personnel in the accounting process to collect the accounts of various tax items to ensure accuracy, and make tax returns for each period based on the tax data recorded in the account books.
- Issue financial reports in English. According to the company’s requirements, issue English financial reports on a monthly basis based on data from the Chinese and English financial systems, and make financial analysis as required; complete the year-end English financial report as the basis for external audits.
- Cooperate with auditor, provide reports and basic information according to audit requirements, and answer questions raised by external auditors.
- Do a good job in business training and educating interns, arrange their daily work and business, and do a good job in basic financial work.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred (Pakistani CPA qualification or ACCA qualification will be given priority).
- At least 5 years’ experience or above as a Financial supervisor or as an Audit manager in an accounting firm.
- Proficient in accounting theory and international accounting standards.
- Under Chinese financial guidance, become proficient in using UFIDA financial system.
- Proficient in preparing financial statements and various management reports.
- Good written expression skills, able to accurately write financial analysis reports in English by using office software thoughtfully.
- Proficient in English and Chinese will be preferred.
