Position: Assistant Manager Procurement/Operations – Malakand
Role Summary: The Assistant Manager Procurement will support campus operations by managing maintenance, procurement, vendor coordination, and administrative activities in line with organizational policies and SOPs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate campus maintenance, repair, and development activities.
- Handle procurement processes including purchase requisitions, comparative statements, and budget monitoring.
- Liaise with vendors, conduct market surveys, negotiate terms, and maintain approved vendor databases.
- Supervise issuance of materials and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Support project planning, cost estimation, execution, and record keeping.
- Coordinate with finance for payments and with internal audit for resolution of audit observations.
- Manage service contracts, petty cash, and university assets maintenance.
- Provide administrative and logistical support including travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Ensure smooth procurement operations in compliance with RIU SOPs and SAP vendor registration procedures.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong procurement, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting, documentation, and contract management.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and internal controls.
- Good communication, planning, and organizational skills.
