Location: Karachi Employment Type: Permanent Qualification & Work Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in engineering roles preferably in the Energy Sector, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Battery Energy Storage Systems, Microgrid Controls, and Renewable Energy Integration. Familiarity with lithium-ion battery technologies and energy management systems is essential.

Job Description:

Product Development & Innovation
- Lead the engineering design and development of REFLEX™ BESS, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.
- Oversee the integration of lithium-ion (LFP) battery technologies with microgrid control systems for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system features such as peak shaving, energy arbitrage, and backup power capabilities.
Microgrid Design & Integration
- Design resilient, cost-effective microgrids by integrating solar, wind, BESS, captive generation, and utility grids.
- Ensure seamless operation of microgrids in both grid-connected and island modes, enhancing system stability & reliability.
- Utilize Spark MGC for real-time monitoring, control, and optimization of microgrid operations.
Control Systems & SCADA
- Develop and implement SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control of BESS and microgrid operations through Spark MGC.
- Ensure rapid response times (<250ms) to support various power sources, enhancing power system reliability.
- Integrate advanced control and monitoring systems to optimize energy production and consumption.
Project Execution & Commissioning
- Manage projects to ensure timely, budget-friendly delivery with adherence to high engineering standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, construction, and quality assurance teams to streamline project workflows.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Customer Relations & After-Sales Support
- Maintain strong client relationships by addressing technical needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Engage with clients to understand their energy storage needs and provide customized solutions.
