ASSISTANT MANAGER PROCUREMENT
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – Procurement to manage and support procurement operations in the FMCG sector. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, inventory coordination, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials to support business objectives efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily procurement activities and sourcing operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, production, warehouse, and sales teams.
- Ensure the timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and spend analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG procurement.
- Candidates having experience in the juice, beverage, food, or related industries will be preferred.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
