Position | Manager – Dispatch
Location | Port Qasim, Karachi

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Dispatch to lead dispatch operations, ensure timely customer deliveries, manage finished-goods inventory, and drive operational efficiency in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
7–10 years of relevant experience in dispatch, warehousing, or logistics.
Automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is mandatory.
Strong skills in dispatch planning, team management, inventory control, and KPI monitoring.

Key Responsibilities / Job Description:

Plan and manage daily dispatch schedules against customer delivery plans and production output.
Supervise warehouse and loading staff and drivers, along with vehicle health monitoring.
Ensure accurate FIFO handling, packing standards, and traceability.
Coordinate with Production and other relevant departments to resolve shortages, order holds, and priority-order requirements.
Prepare and verify dispatch documents (delivery challans, invoices, gate passes, customer-specific paperwork).
Maintain close coordination with OEMs as per their plans.
Track and improve KPIs: OTIF, dispatch accuracy, transit damage, customer complaints, and vehicle turnaround time.
Maintain finished-goods inventory accuracy through cycle counts and ERP reconciliation.
Handle customer complaints related to delivery, quantity, or packing, and drive root cause analysis and corrective action.
Enforce safety, housekeeping, and loading practices (5S, material handling, forklift safety).
Drive continuous improvement in dispatch processes and cost reduction.
