WE’RE LOOKING FOR ASSISTANT MANAGER MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Location: Jamber, Lahore
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the factory.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Design and oversee mechanical modifications and improvements to enhance production processes and product quality.
• Collaborate with other departments (production, quality control, and procurement) to address technical challenges and optimize operations.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to resolve mechanical issues promptly.
• Prepare and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for engineering projects.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations in all engineering operations.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians, ensuring skill development and effective team performance.
• Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and project status for senior management.
EQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and maintenance practices in a factory.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
