Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the Finance Department in maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, and assisting in treasury management activities in accordance with the relevant policies, regulatory framework, investments, liquidity and risk management. Candidate should have good knowledge and understanding of managing daily liquidity, funding operations, cash flow monitoring, and treasury reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting finance operations through accurate recording of vouchers and transactions in the ERP system.
- Assist in day-to-day finance operations including reconciliation of bank accounts, verification of supporting documentation, coordination with internal departments, and timely preparation of financial information to support reporting, audits, and management requirements.
- Assist in execution, settlement, documentation, and reconciliation of treasury transactions in accordance with internal controls.
- Assisting in preparation of ALCO presentations covering country’s economic situation, cash flow projections, investment positions thereby enabling the members to make informed decisions. Furthermore, assist supervisor in finalization of ALCO minutes for committee approval.
- Prepare daily treasury dashboard that demonstrates analytical acumen along with a good understanding of capital markets.
- Review interest rate movement and advise management on opportunities for maximization of investment returns.
- Assist in other initiatives undertaken by supervisor including those related to business improvement, internal controls.
Requirements
Education:
- B. Com / M. Com / BBA
Experience:
- Fresh graduate or 1 year experience preferably in Finance Department of Financial Services Sector.
Functional Competencies:
- Analytical & qualitative Analysis skills
- Basic knowledge of Managing Investments.
- Basic understanding of economic policy and monetary policy
- Basic knowledge of risk especially market credit risk
- Knowledge of relevant SECP rules and regulations for NBFCs
- Cash flow forecasting liquidity management/cash management
- Negotiation skills
- Presentation and writing skills
