Deputy Manager / Manager HR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the complete employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, leave & attendance, payroll, promotions, separations, medical & life insurance, and EOBI.
- Oversee employee data, records, and HR information systems, ensuring accuracy, validation, and alignment across systems.
- Lead talent acquisition, performance management, goal setting, training & development, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Drive HR digitalization and automation initiatives, including facilitation portal, e-records, and online employee service.
- Ensure compliance with HEC regulations, relevant laws and institutional service regulations/policies.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, procedures to improve efficiency, governance, and employee experience.
- Organize employee engagement programmes, CSR initiatives, and HR projects that strengthen workplace culture.
- Administer compensation, benefits, rewards programmes to promote fairness, motivation and retention.
- Manage employee counseling, handle grievances, disciplinary matters, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative leadership to align HR practices with the university’s strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- MS/ M.Phil in Business, Management, or a related field, with a specialization in HRM.
- 6+ years HR experience, including 2-3 years in a managerial role at a reputed organization.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of HR policies, laws, HEJ’s HR frameworks, ERP, digital HR solutions & Process improvement.
- Expert in talent management, compensation & benefits, training, development, and engagement initiatives.
- Strategic HR leadership ability to align change management, facilitation and people practices with organizational development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
