We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Executive to oversee our food production operations. As a production executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality food products while maintaining strict adherence to food safety and regulatory standards.
Location: Plant (Renala Khurd, Okara)
Responsibilities:
- Advise Production Manager/Asst.Manager (P) on production programme formulation and / or modification.
- Plan & supervise production, to attain optimum output of quality products, on schedule, while continuously reviewing production targets with increasing automation.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team for repair & maintenance of existing equipment, to ensure that the plant runs smoothly, & to raise requirement for new machines when necessary.
- Determine the best materials handling methods for use in production.
- Able to control labour and overhead costs in the section
- Able to minimize, or eliminate, need for processing of carryover stocks and to control all raw/packing materials used in production.
- Monitor processing closely and to advise supervisors of any change therein.
- Hold supervisors responsible for work safety, work quality, hygiene of workplace, environmental cleanliness and orderliness.
- Collaborate with Asst.Manager (QC) in producing new product samples.
- Build high worker morale in the section whilst maintaining discipline, as per company rules.
- Rationalize all processes by conducting regular work studies with the objective to obtain maximum quality output with lowest possible overheads.
- Check machine ability of all new packaging materials in coordination with Asst. Manager (QC) & Asst. Manager Production
- Maintain ISO-9000 documentation for Production Section, as per ISO-9000 regulations.
- Compile monthly downtimes for machines which have a direct bearing on production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science or a related field. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven experience of 2 to 3 years in a food production environment, with an in-depth knowledge on food processing, packaging, and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and resolve any production-related issues.
- Proficient in using production management software and systems.
