Position: Assistant Manager Internal Audit
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to plan, supervise and oversee the various audit activities.
- Examine internal controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk and develop remediation strategies. 1 Â
- Detailed reviews of the working papers and drafts the internal audit report.
- Follows up on audit findings to ensure that management has taken corrective action(s).
- Analyze expenditures, revenues, and operational costs to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, financial reporting standards, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, and adapt audit practices accordingly.
- Provide suggestions for streamlining processes and enhancing internal controls to support organizational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather required documentation and ensure smooth execution of audit activities.
- Follow up on previous audit recommendations to assess the effectiveness of implemented changes.
Qualification: ACCA Finalist or Affiliate / CA Part Qualified / ICMA Part Qualified
Experience: 3 to 5 years audit experience at a leading audit firm and / or in internal audit department of a reputable organization.
