Role Overview
We are seeking proactive and experienced Shift Managers to oversee confectionery production operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidates will be responsible for managing production activities, ensuring product quality, maximizing operational efficiency, and leading production teams while maintaining compliance with food safety, GMP, and company standards.
- Supervise and manage all confectionery production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining the required quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize downtime.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to ensure efficient shift operations.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Monitor raw material consumption and minimize production wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Maintenance departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Prepare daily production reports, shift handover reports, and other operational documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in confectionery production, with experience in shift supervision preferred.
- Strong knowledge of confectionery manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
